Temporary number

Hi. When I changed networks I was given a temporary number until my old number was transferred to new network. Now when I text some (not all) of my contacts they receive messages from this temporary number but not everyone does. How do I get rid of this temporary number from my S20fe?

@Songbird69 If you use Google Messages you can change your number under settings>advanced.
I actually borrowed my daughter's iPhone to change the number on my SIM card as well.
