Sound Problems with my Galaxy s20

No notification sounds on my phone. How do I fix this? Tried everything.

Have you silenced the phone, or is DND (do not disturb) enabled, or is it your volume is too low ??

No, I haven't. It worked just no when you sent this message. It's very strange because Gmail doesn't give notification sound. Thank you for asking.

@Sall89: If certain apps are affected, but not others, then please head to Settings > Apps > Gmail (as an example) > Notifications > Show notifications > On > Allow sound and vibration > On > Notification categories > Email > Alert (On) > Sound > Make sure a notification sound is assigned here. Repeat these steps for any other apps you're having trouble with, and let me know if this helps.

Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > System sound/vibration control. and check if they are disabled against each listed item
