I've just switched over from Vodafone to ID. I kept the same number and the switch was completed 2 days ago. However, I can receive and make calls with my new phone (Galaxy S20FE) BUT when someone texts me back it pops up on my old S8. So, I took out the SIM card. Guess what, texts still come through!!!!!! I have no idea why and how, it says emergency calls only so shouldn't work. How is it doing this???? Any ideas guys. Thanks

Well I've done both of those things now and it's still happening. Google reckons it was sending the messages via WiFi so that's off now too. but I still can't get a message to my new phone. I guess I'll have to try ID but there's no one on phones at the moment 😕. so we'll see but thanks guys.

possibly the porting hasn't fully gone through yet... sometimes its been known that text messages go to both sims or both networks while a consumer is moving networks... hopefully its all sorted by end of Monday for you.

I think your right it seems OK now. but so weird I've had loads of phones over the years and never experienced that before but all good now thank you 😄
