Anyone having issues with phone especially Samsung music since last software update?

Unfortunately I'm not using your particular make of phone so can't comment on that.

What software update have you downloaded  ?

Sometimes when a phone isn't behaving after an update a good tip is to try these...

What's happening with Samsung Music specifically  ?

Have you tried another music app ?

I can control and music or see my full plsylist in the car.

According to samsung its a software issue

Is this while connected to your cars own music system sofrware ?

If so.....

Might be worth speaking with users of the same car system to see what's happening with them.

If Samsung say it's a software issue and it's a software issue on their side then they'll need to look at pushing out an update.
