Why this upgrade from Pay which seems to rather rubbish...

What problems are you encountering with this @KEVIN50  ?

My preference has always been Google Pay so I haven't been drawn to download this yet

It won't verify my cards for one.

Oh heck that's not good.

Like I've said I'm not keen on Samsung Pay so I always use Google Pay.

I'm therefore not sure why a person wouod need to re set cards back up if there already uploaded into Samsung Pay and verified.

I wouod have thought they would have just merged.

What is your phone showing when trying to add the card may I ask @KEVIN50  ?

It shows the spinning dots. Repeatedly asking to verify the card details. 

Samsung pay worked fine so this not working is a nuisance.

I can well imagine.

I've not seen many new posts onthe forum in regards to issues with the new Samsung Wallet so not sure if yours is an isolated issue yet.

I'm not really a forum guy but after another issue which a restart seemed to solve, this pushed me to comment. I replaced a 4yr old S7 edge with this expensive purchase really and only 6 months in problems. Doesn't bode well frankly.

Yeah they seem to be forcing people to use curve card as a 3rd party app

Yes, strange idea unless Curve are tied in with Samsung. Think I'll just be uninstalling both and trying Google Pay instead. Its a shame as Samsung Pay worked perfectly. Once again it appears unnecessary upgrades ruin a perfectly good app.

I actually signed up for curve, it's a decent app that completely hides your own bank details when online and has quit a few good features such as switching payments from different cards even after purchase and to be honest I've not had a problem with it in the past year since using it, it comes with an actual card too for non phone stuff, I wouldn't rush in to wrighting it off straight away, it's funny though that the Samsung wallet only allows you to add Korean airline tickets🤣🤣 but it's new and things take time to bed in
