Can someone tell me why this phone does not have the support for a Esim?

Unfortunately not all phone's have eSim functionality built in which is a direct decision by the manufacturer for each model that's released.

If a phone hasn't been originally built with eSim hardware then it can't be added.

I've got an s20 and I've found that it gets hot if I use my USB charger and I tried it with my daughter's Nintendo mains charger and it has been fine since x

Turn off fast wired charging. The reason it don't get warm on you Nintendo mains charge is because it does not put out the current for fast charging
