I have a question about my Galaxy S20 plus It is under warranty and I'm  experiencing screen burning problems. Is it covered under warnety and also how can I fix it if I can.

It wont be covered by warranty as it is not a hardware or software issue and is caused by the user so you will need to pay for a new screen

it should be classed as a hardware issue though as the screen itself is more susceptible to screen burn in due to it being amoled as amoled screens have screen burn in issues

I understood it would be replaced under warranty but could be mistaken.

i have the samsung s20 5g, i use tiktok a lot. i now have clear outlines of the like, comment and share button permanently on the screen. had my phone since about july/august. I am currently talking to my provider (vodafone) to see what can be done, i will keep updated if i get covered etc

it can be authorised under warranty. has to be booked in for repair and then pictures will be took and samsung can decide to replace screen under warranty if wanted too. in my experience 9 times out of 10. this will be replaced.

unfortunately this is a problem with oled displays. however i have only experienced this on my s20 and my old s9. I have people with an iphone xs and other iphones with oled panels and they have had no issues.. i think i will be upgrading early for an iphone

thats such a shame tho I would trade this phone back into Samsung as I got it direct from Samsung in the first place.
