Hi,

I bought an unlocked S20+ 5G USA version for test purposes. I inserted a test SIM and I don't see 5G option in network mode.

Shouldn't network mode should show 5g/4g/3g/2g even without inserting SIM? Some help here will be much appreciated.

Model SM-G986U1
Device Location: Santa Clara, California

Thanks.

Can you please elaborate, when I dial that into the phone, I get hit with a "USSD code running" and finally, "connection problem or  invalid MMI code" and no menu option comes up. I'm using a galaxy s20 ultra 5g (originally from xfinitymobile) with a AT&T Network. only getting LTE/LTE+ or H/H+ even though 5g is under the autoconnect option. Customer support couldn't solve and this sounds very much like the right solution because I think the phone doesn't have the.network specific software to activate 5g capabilities.

Thank you in advance,

Steven
