Samsung Notes

I have a Samsung S20 and have just started using Samsung Notes for lists ie shopping list. The ap that I previously used, I could move individual items up and down the list or sort the items on the list ie into alphabetical order. I can't work out how to do this on Samsung Notes. Any advice gratefully received.

I'm not sure you can. if that's the case and you'd prefer your other app I would just use that. However list's for shopping aren't necessarily in alphabetical order usually in order of the aisles so not sure if you really need it in alphabetical order at all.

If you open the notes app - tap the 3 dots on the left - should get pop up menu - tap on sort - then set sort by title - and choose ascending if you want alphabetical by title
The pop up menu also has a view option to either show notes in a list or as a grid

Ooops sorry - just dawned on me I mis read your post and you are referring to items within a list rather than tha actual lists themselves !

Thank you so much for your response. I think I agree with you on all points, although I just used the shopping list/ alphabetical sort analogy as it came to my head.
