Depends on the email you are using, like if you are using just a gmail or outlook, then you shouldn't need to configure pop or imap.

@ally009: Depending on your email provider, try heading to Settings > Accounts and Backup > Manage Accounts > Add Account > Personal (POP3), to see if you're able to add the account in this manner.
