Samsung mail app unresponsive

Ever since the latest update of the Mail app to 6.1.60.16 it keeps getting unresponsive and crashes out. I'm using s20ultra with Android 11. 

I've tried uninstall and then reinstall the app and the same issue is there. 

As anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Have you tried Going settings
Apps
Samsung mail app
And clearing the cache and data
And see if that helps

Yes, I've tried that and no luck. I've even gone as far as uninstalling the entire app, and then install again. The issue just presents itself again!

It all started after that update, and it's also happening on my S21+

Have you tried clearing
The phone cache
And see if that helps Resolves

Nope. That's the same as the first suggestion you made and has no effect

Update on this: The problem is not present on my Tab S7, but is also on my A51. So it would appear its a mobile device issue. 🙄

Hi, this did not solve the problem. I had a remote session with a Samsung agent who saw the problem. We uninstalled the app and configured again. It was working OK for about 10 minutes whilst I still had agent connected, but sadly the problem came back very shortly after. 😕
