Hello im trying to connect the headphones that came with my phone but i get a notification that says "high power USB device connected" cannot access to this device. connected device needs external power supply. and another one that says charging connected device via USB. somebody please help me solve this issue they were working fine and all of a sudden just stopped working.
First using a torch check no debris is inside the connection port.
Then as a process of elimination try your set in another phone and another set in your phone if you can.
Check your regions warranty period to see if you can have the phone or earphones or both swapped out.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help.
Do the same thing happens with your charger @MORE1025 ? Would you be able to run the following test and let us know the result? Launch the Samsung Members app> Get help> Interactive checks> Headphone jack.
it dose not do the same thing with the charger. i launched the app and it says action required. " try restarting phone or updating to the latest software. if problems continue, contact customer service." i have already updated to the latest software i will try to restart phone but..
I am having the same exact issue. Charger works fine. I don't have another set of headphones to test it one (and don't want to buy one just for a test!)
