I find it quite amusing that If I want to purchase the S20+ without the partner scheme discount i get:

- The option of the Upgrade Programme

- £200 Trade in for my S8+

If I use the partner scheme discount portal i get

- No discount (not that I expected one on a pre-order)

- No option for the uprade programme

- Only £130 Trade in for my S8+

I had a similar issue with the trade-in values being lower through the student page - trying to preorder the S20+, but with the student 10% discount and lower student trade-in value (for an S10) you would end up paying more than just a straight trade-in on the standard Samsung page.

The trade-in value should stay the same regardless of student and non-student pricing - the phone being traded in is the same! Changing that amount doesn't make sense and there is no actual benefit of the student offer!
