S20 Ultra wont focus using Photo mode

Hi, for the last few months if I use the photo mode in the camera, all shots are out of focus using the 1x to 4.9x lens. 0.5x is in focus. Strangely when I use night and pro mode using 1x to 4.9x the photos are in focus. Is this a hardware issue with the lens or can it be fixed by software? The last firmware update didn't help. Thanks

I also noticed that it is not focusing on anything over a few feet but things are in focus in the foreground. Also after trying someone's suggestion of tapping the phone on the top right corner while trying to focus does actually work! Not all the time, but at least I am getting some in focus!
