S20 Ultra waterproof

So , if i walk trought rain , my phone is waterproof right so it can rain on it with no problems ,but how is the speaker that s positioned besides the front camera waterproof?

Our S20 range phones are backed by an international standard rating of IP68, which means that they are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m in clear water for up to thirty minutes. In this case, as the conditions are not the described, the phone will be deemed out of warranty.

I mean , drops of water on the screen , can that affect the speaker? The one that s on the front of the phone not the one besides the c port

The phone is sealed, which means that this might affect the speaker if water comes inside the phone. Find more about this standard here.

I know that , but can a few drop of water like raindrops go inside the speaker and damage it? If it s 30 minute resistant in 1.5m of water what s the clue . Can it be damaged or cannot

Let s say , 5 drops of water land on the speaker , the one in the screen , what s the result of this

I am unable to confirm this as that might vary depending on the conditions. However, I would advise not to keep the phone near water or any other liquid as this can cause damage. Hope that this helps.

My S20 touched a very small amount of water in the top speaker and does not work anymore. Conclusion : the S20 is not waterproof at all.
