S20 ultra photos / videos missing?

Hi Guys,

I've recently bought a S20 ultra and have some issues with photos and videos thatkthat disappearing??

I filmed  a slow a slow motion video, changed a where the slow Mo started and finished and resaved to my folder.

A few days later I went to review this video and now all of those taken are missing? 

I've checked the SD card and phone memory but cannot locate said videos?

Is this a common issue? If so how did you rectify?

that is really odd. Can you tell us where are you saving the videos/images (phone's internal memory, SD card, cloud...)? Are you able to open correctly the rest of the files on the phone?

The camera storage is set to SD card.

Is the SD card having enough free storage? Are you able to insert this in a different device and check if it's working correctly?

Nearly 60gb free, I've only had the phone 5 weeks.

Are you using a brand new SD card or were you using this with your previous device? Would you be able to try the SD card on a different device and try to save something to this? Is this only affecting slow-motion videos?

Brand new recommend Samsung card.

It is a fake sd card... this explains everything...

Immediately transfer everything into your internal phone memory, that thing could break at every single second and then your data is loss...

Return it if you can an buy a genuine one.

If you want you can send me a pic of it after it arrives so that i can check it straight away

Where did you buy it from?
