S20 ultra dim screen problem

Does any s20 ultra owner experience problems with the display when sitting in the sun the screen dims to a level that you can barely see? Even though the screens brightness is on max when checking.

I hope that as well mate I am waiting for them to open the repair centres so that I can go there and show them pictures of the screen . Like this they won't be able to tell me ***** ...

I regret a little bit as well, luckily I will keep it only for one year as I have bought it with the upgrade program. Its a shame because the phone is nice . Mine does overheat sometimes as well , from what I see here a lot of people are experiencing this issue and Samsung is ignoring it or doesn't give a ***** .

I had read that the are passing the overheating as 'within a normal tolerance', but the phone has got SO alarmingly hot that I've had to switch it off and leave it to cool for an hour. 

I worry about the impact that heat will have on the parts of my phone. 

This has been the nail in the coffin, for my purchase of a Samsung, now and I won't be getting any more.

This is my first problem from 4 Samsung phones that I had . So in my case I will stick with them I had an IPhone x a while ago rubbish and Huawei don't know why but I don't trust them yet:)) . And this three are in top at the moment . Plus I think they are the only one who give you all sorts of free things when you buy their top phones.

Same issue on the S20 Plus 5g- really not good enough from Samsung here....I want a refund

yes , mine too . it is very annoying . stating from 38 degrees C dims about 30% than over 41 C dims 50% that you can barely see anything .  impossible to use it if the sun catches you 2-3 minutes

i have the same problem hier.

My wife has de s20 en is bright in the sun.

I have the s20 plus and i can see *****. 

We have the same settings in both phones.

It is unbelievable that samsung don't acknowledge this issue.

This is exactly what happens to my s20!! Brightness absolutely ***** compared to my old oneplus phone. Will be selling this and going back to oneplus 8 which is slightly cheaper and pretty much exactly same specs👌
