Galaxy S20 SeriesHi everyone,
Interested to know if anyone has had an S20 Ultra and then found the camera screen at the back either cracked or with a 'bullet hole' just appear despite having not dropped the phone or hit anything?
I have had this and obviously been on lockdown so not subjected the phone to anything like normal day to day rigours. Samsung denied any issues but a quick Google search showed up what I think is clearly an issue ! As I expected (but hoped I would be wrong) Samsung were not interested in listening or checking reports, I was just told it was not covered by warranty and therefore I'd need to pay to sort it out myself. I'd had the phone 5 weeks and spent £1200 on it ! My S8+ has been dropped and thrown about outside when fallen from pocket, not a single issue with it and using it now while S20 Ultra sitting here waiting for me to get it sorted. I have phone insurance so not bothered by that but I am bothered by Samsungs attitude and also worried about it happening again once I get it back ! Samsung will not get my business again, may sell it and get a Oneplus 8 pro 👍

Galaxy S20 SeriesNoticed the camera glass was cracked. Contacted Samsung. It went to be inspected. Surprisingly enough, not under warranty. I have had the phone for 8 weeks. The moment it came out of the box it had a good quality case on it. The phone was never dropped. I look after all my phones.
The phone was fixed by Samsung. £69.99. I wasn't impressed but had little choice. I now have another case on it. This case has a sliding cover to protect the camera. I have put a camera glass protector on and a good quality screen protector. If the camera glass cracks again, I will certainly reconsider my association with Samsung. One of my daughters is with Samsung and wanted the S20 Ultra. Given my recent experience, I can't recommend this phone and have suggested she looks elsewhere.

Galaxy S20 SeriesHi all,
I am posting this and hopefully it will help the rest of the community using the S20 Ultra Plus. Since new, my phone had always been in a sturdy case but the rear camera glass cracked twice within 3 months. I have sort of figured out the cause. The rear camera glass is very fragile and sensitive. Even a slight bump or knock will crack it. You must install a rear camera glass protector. It is either a small glass or aluminium protector. I installed one after the second incident and it has never cracked again.
Best wishes.

Galaxy S20 SeriesNo, but my S10e glass cracked the week I got it after I was sold on it by how indestructible it was. it slipped of the coffee table because of the ultra slick glass body (the cover had not arrived yet) and managed to land on a piece of tracked in gravel. Hit it just right and cracked across the back.

Galaxy S20 SeriesSamsung S20 ultra.
Same just happened literally today.
Don't know when it happened.
Just know I've been in all day on sofa due to lock down.
Looks like the camera bulleted its way out.
Can't believe I'll have to pay out to get it fixed when clearly there is so many others in the same boat.

Galaxy S20 SeriesSame thing happened to mine.
After owning the s9+ for years and it never had a case yet survived. This s20 didn't make it a week with best case and was never dropped yet a crack line on the camera and slowly growing. Sick to my stomach
The s9+ first week I had it i dropped it in my hottub , got all the way inside and in shower before I remembered the phone but even sitting at the bottom of hottub it still worked. Never had a case with it because it was a strong phone. I paid it off in full and
Now I dont know if this s20 was a upgrade. It fails on everything vs s9+ besides the gb ram . Not worth!

Galaxy S20 SeriesHi, I've discovered that this is a design fault and samsung are well aware of it. It's not something they discovered after selling the devices and unless people officially take legal action, nothing will happen. I have a document and willingness to take action on behalf of others. I just need to prove it isn't a one off so need at least one other
