S20+ spontaneous glass fracture

I know that this is a current problem. However, I just wanted to voice my upset. I have never had a Samsung before and I am very disappointed. I have NEVER accidentally broken a phone before. But today my S20+ rear camera glass just fractured / exploded, it left glass in my pocket! I am really not happy. I didnt drop it. I think there is a design flaw, i think perhaps it is heat related. I would like samsung to acknowledge this issue recall and fix the phones.

While Samsung (and some Samsung users) are quick to call it physical damage, I find it strange that there are so many images available online now and many with the exact same type of damage. Why are so many of these phones ending up with a whole like that around the same camera lens? Has to be more to this than just physical damage due to user neglect? Anyway, these reports were enough to stop me upgrading!

Sorry, I understand that. I have posted elsewhere. However this is an issue I think needs making noise over. I didnt mean to frustrate people in the community.

It's not here you need to make a noise, send the complaints direct to Samsung, do it via a public social media so people see it, that gets their attention, forums are not gonna do anything

Up to this moment the only phone which seems to have problems is the s20 ultra on the periscope not the s20 plus, the s20 plus has only ois on the main which is the centered sensor but ois cannot cause damage, and still the s20 ultra holes are quite debatable up to this point from a physical standpoint to cause such damage.

If i were you i would bring it to a repar center and explain there an engineer will check your phone and try to sort out what happened!

Well my Phone was collected yesterday for an inspection by Samsung. I also complained about the issue with it not accepting charge sometimes. I hope they fix it!

Very unlikely they will repair it. I hope I am wrong though, good luck.
