s20+ poor network signal

1bar network reception.  4 bar with Huawei if same sim card used at same location.  any advice pls

@Pmz: Sorry to hear that you're having network issues with your Galaxy S20+. Can you try pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, to see if this helps? Also, if you have a case or cover on the device then please remove it temporarily to ensure that it isn't interfering with the signal.

thanks for your reply. that has been done already including network reset.
also no change if I take the cover off. it seems that it is a known problem with s20+ and ultra?

I am not sure any more if there's any activity on this site but thought it would be worth another try :still wonder if any expert advice is out there. my new s20 plus shows1 bar signal, occasionally goes to 2 bars while with the same sim put into other devices on same network the strength is 3-4bars constantly.
interestingly the reception increases to 3 bars when actually making a call and drops to 1 bar right after I hung up.
