S20 plus overnight reboots, android 13.

Hi all, 

I'm looking for some help as since my S20 plus updated to Android 13 it reboots every night while it's on charge. This never happened before the update. I have checked auto restart and it's turned off. Anyone else getting this since the update or have a fix for it?

Yeah, this is also happening to me. Exactly the same. Every night since the update. Not got a fix, sorry, came on here hoping to find one, or at least find that it is a known issue.

@Robuk @DaiBigger: Does the issue only occur when you're connected to a charger? Have you noticed if the restarts occur at a certain time, or while using a certain app or feature, or is it random?

For me it's only happening when charging overnight, using a wireless charger. I don't use a wired charger. I have the Samsung Fast Charge wireless charger.

@AndrewL : Wired charger for me. No idea of the time it happens, but I wake up to find it has restarted at some point during the night. Just randomly happened to me again, 10 mins ago (at nearly 70% battery) whilst just sat next to me on my table.

I'm experiencing it too on my S20 5G. It feels like it most often happens when it's charging (wirelessly) and reaching 100%, though not always, as in: it's charged a bunch of times without problems but when I do notice it happening/happpened the battery shows 100% when I look at it. Not sure if I've seen it happpen while charging using a cable but I don't do that often. Besides that, it's rebooted in my pocket (locked, not charging) at least twice over the last week or so, so it's not necessarily tied to charging for me. I noticed those times because my Watch3 buzzed that it lost connection.

Same issue using a wired charger
Ever since upgrading to 13 always when I wake to it, saying the phone rebooted . The downside is once put in code, it takes a while to get all updates. .
It does not happen throughout the Day when phone is on charge.

Please sort a fix for this

@AndrewLit's happening multiple times a day now, always when it's charging, not necessarily exactly when hitting 100% charge but it could be a bit after that too. Is this being looked at at all?

Edit: december update landed, no change. Still rebooted. I changed the setting for battery life protection so it stops charging at 85%, and it rebooted mere minutes after hitting 85% now. I made a routine now to sound an alarm at 95% battery so I can take it off the charger but it must be obvious this is annoying as hell.
