S20 plus not showing sd card in any form.

Help please recently got 2 sd cards for my s20 plus, work perfectly in my old s8 plus. But new s20 plus not showing any sign of sd card not even detecting it in device Maintenace. It’s like it doesn’t allow external storage. But phone working fine apart from this. I have done everything suggested on line.

@Dblenk20: Try swiping up from your Home screen > Samsung (folder) > My Files, and check to see if the SD card is registering here. Furthermore, head to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Storage > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Advanced > SD Card. You may need to format it at this stage, in which case please ensure that you have backed up any data on the card on your home computer.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your advice but I have tried both and it just doesn’t seem to be there. It won’t even let me format as it just doesn’t seem see any sd card.

try reinserting them in the tray, the cards might not be making full contact with the pins inside the phone that accesses them
