Since my phone updated this morning Audible stops when the screen goes black. It is fine while I am using the phone

Try going into App Info for Audible (long press on icon then press on the i in top right). Under 'battery', change it to unrestricted. That's what I did when Spotify would stop after around 30 seconds of screen going off. Had no issues since.
