S20 FE low volume/sound issue

I recently purchased the S20 FE 5G edition (Snapdragon 865) and I experience very low volume/audio issues during calls and playback of videos, Google Maps (guidance voice) and other audio apps.

The issue disappears ONLY with a restart of the device...but unfortunately reappears!

Anyone else with similar issues?

I've noticed that my alarm starts off with a lower than usual volume then you get the irritating robot voice saying the time but then alarm volume goes louder. can't say I've experienced it in any apps, videos etc. maybe it's a dodgy hardware problem with your phone. get Samsung to look at it mate because if it is then the problem is only going to get worse so I'd get em to have a gander at it, assuming it's under warranty and wot not still. good luck with it anyway

Well, the alarm "issue" is an easy fix. You can go in to alarm settings, & change whether the volume increases gradually or not, & you can also choose whether or not the time is spoken/read out loud. So, the solution is: change alarm preferences in your alarm settings. Totally easy peasy. Lol. As far as the other person's issues with the sound/volume issues on the device during phone calls, or while in other phone apps, or even when using Google maps.... ? I have no idea. I just know that the annoying alarm volume/annoying voice "issue", isn't really an issue at all, being that THAT particular "problem", can be customized, adjusted, & even completely changed, to suit your liking, simply by clicking on the settings icon, within the clock/alarm app.  :smiling-face:  😁👍 (you can even personalize device vibration patterns, or create your own, for alarms and/or notifications)

I have a similar problem. I bought new Samsung S20 FE 5g and audio doesn't work on my new samsung buds. If I have a call, than audio of video works again. Samsung have to solve the problems!

I am experiencing low volume in voicemail messages with Galaxy S20 FE 5G.  Can the volume on recorded voicemail messages be increased?
