S20 fe heat throttling and battery drainage issue

Hi!

I bought my s20 fe yesterday. It is causing heating issue since start. And battery is draining very fast. It’s exynos version. To check for battery I did a test. I played a already downloaded video for 10 minutes, other then WiFi no extra feature was on, brightness was midway, volume was full, on 60 hz screen refresh rate. It reduce battery from 60% to 55% in 10 minutes. I think 5% for just ten minutes is much. What do you think is it normal ?

as they have said it has a 4500 mAh battery , then at least it should give a little more.

Hi there. I have got the exynos version of the standard s20 and the battery isn't the best on mine either. (A drop of 5% in ten minutes is quite common!) The exynos processer on the whole is really quiet inefficient and heating up after using it for a while is not uncommon. With my S20, I barely make it through the day without having to charge it halfway through the day just to get to bedtime. What I have found to slightly improve battery life is to slow charge it off a wireless charger as this trickle charges it and seams to prolong battery life a bit. It's not the best solution I know but it has helped me a bit.
