try a cache clear In the recovery menu,
this usually fix the issues an update can cause but if that doesn't help a full factory reset will be needed.

before any of that , have you dropped it or had any liquid near it?

hope it works after a clear out :smiling-face:

@dq58: Please try restarting your phone, then head to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Call Vibration Pattern (make sure an option is selected here) > Notification Vibration Pattern (do the same here) > Vibration Intensity, move all 3 sliders to a suitable level. Does the issue persist following these steps?

I restarted my phone and made sure call vibration is on and moved all 3 slides to the max. no vibration yet and I tried changing the vibration pattern but my phone would not vibrate either.

just out of curiosity, any haptic feedback from your key strokes? or games?

give this a go:

open the dial pad and enter *#0*# — with no spaces, just like you would any phone number. Then wait a moment, and the test screen should pop up: Numerous buttons can run tests for vibration and much more.

to exit double tap the back key

if the vibration is working in there, way least week have something to work with

then as far as I am aware , there's not much to be done, I could be wrong but can't find evidence to support that, maybe someone else know a solution that doesn't require repair.

you can use your IMEI number to check if unsure about your warrantee status but I'd definitely get in touch with your provider, retailer or Samsung directly to find a solution be it repair or replace if it's not cause by drop or liquid damage.

hope you get it sorted and keep us posted so others users can see what do as well please :smiling-face:
