S20+ does not chirp to notify about new messages/calls/etc. when the official case is closed.

I got my brand new S20+ yesterday, along with the official case Smart Clear View. Now, the said case is closed and the clock is showing trough the clear part of said case, the phone only vibrates when I get a call/ message or a whatsapp message, no matter what I do, I cannot get the phone to make even a chirp to let me know I have something new to check.

How can I solve this? Please help.

Are you new to Samsung phones? Please check these things...

1. Make sure you have set sound mode to 'sound' rather than 'vibrate' or 'mute'

2. Check you have a notification sound set

3. Check your volume level for notifications is set loud enough

you can try restarting it once ... probably u can see the difference
