S20 adaptive brightness

Has anyone found a fix to this? I turn adaptive brightness off and minutes later my phone turns it back on again. Its so frustrating to be watching a video, taking a photo or just looking at my phone and watching it dim before my eyes. In certain lights it makes the screen too dark to see anything. Has been doing this for about 1 month now. Have tried all the advice online - power save mode, no case, cleaned sensors. Anything else?!

The phone shouldn't be turning on Adaptive Brighness back on by itself.

Try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
