@Rtx1

your feedback is very valuable to software developers

let them know directly by submitting error report via Members app → add → submit feedback

you can boost for the meantime by enabling Dolby

Since Samsung has been putting stereo speakers on galaxy phones I've had this problem. I upgrade every year and every year, after a while, I have the same issue. I always assumed that I'd blown the top speaker by playing music at full volume on a regular basis.
I know when I first encountered this issue I spoke to someone at tech support and was advised to do a factory reset, which I did. It didn't fix the problem.
I'd be interested to know if this is a software & if you manage to sort it.

@Rtx1 @CharlieHowes: Can you try heading to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Sound Quality and Effects > Dolby Atmos > On > Adapt Sound > Run through the on screen prompts to find the best sound for you. Does this help at all? If not, open the Samsung Members app > Get Help > Interactive Checks > Speaker. Does this return any errors?

Touch wood my 21 ultra hasn't done this yet. Definitely happened on my 9+, 10+ and 20 ultra so I'm not holding my breath that it won't do it again. I ran through checks and diagnostics with tech support which flagged up nothing. I was also told I could send the phone back to be checked and possibly repaired but I really didn't want to go days, or possibly weeks, without a phone. That's probably the only downside of the upgrade program, no old phone to use if current handset is faulty.
Thanks for replying though mate. And Rtx1 I hope you get it fixed 🤞
