S2 Ultra wont focus unless I SMACK it

Literally the topic. When I get my phone out to take a picture, I have to line up the shot then smack the back of it to get it to focus. 

I look like a madman when I do this in public. WTF

You probably need to rest your phone. It probably the software need to be updated

rest it?? It's not tired, it might be unused for hours then I take a photo, it's updated to the latest firmware and it's been wiped

Nah, mate. My point is that I've done all that and yet I have to physically hit the phone to make it focus.
