Receiving messages s20

So I bought a new S20 and after the latest update I am getting a weird code at the end of my messages. See screen shot attached

None of the messages are showing any multi media either. Is there something that changed in the settings?

this is Google messages app, so maybe give feedback to Google.

it also works fine for me.

Hi Curt I had the same issue I resolved by going into the Google message settings then advanced then enable simple characters then close and reload the app and worked for me on z flip

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually needed to add the Google Fi app and it was fixed.
