"Keep open for quick launching"missing after ATCT on SM-G9860

Hey guys,

I got the latest ATCT OTA a few days ago, but it seems the option to "Keep open for quick launching" is missing - option is now set back to "lock this App" when you long press an app during multitasking...

"Lock App" is not the same and i do get multiple reloads of a selected App.

Is this by design ? Why have we lost this very helpfull functionaity?

Hi @geovass. Hope you're doing well. Is this option missing from every app you open? Let's try switching off the phone for 20 seconds.

Yes, the option "Keep open for quick launching" is missing from all running applications,

I have even hard reset the device, but the issue still remains.

Any suggestions are much appriciated;

Thanks for the update, @geovass. It may be ideal to send an error report from the phone after you replicate this. The error report will be investigated, and when there's, any updates, you'll be notified. You can send this by going into the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.

this problem happens after the update last week. Its true for me and other users, I saw there are similar topic happened in Taiwan, and the issue is really a problem for me as the certain app I'm using always closed in background, I often suffer from the loading time. Can it re enable it? I might consider a change of brand if this issue continues, as I switched from One plus and it never happened before.

Don't think you can activate it. Samsung need to fix and push a new update asap.
