Apps via the Playstore and Samsung Galaxy Store should download normally however I've come across past posts and colleagues and friends who's phone's have glitched before when downloading such apps and the resolution for them was to keep trying.
Look in your Playstores library just to see if it's there and delete it so when you try again your downloading a fresh install.
I also assume you have enough storage space remaining on your phone.
