On my Samsung galaxy s20 ultra,  a new app has been installed , probably with the new update a few days ago.

It's called private share and its asking for MSISDN, its asking me to contact my sim provider and tell them to add my phone number to my sim.

My provider ,o2, says it can't do this, can this be done manually

I asked EE and virgin, as I have a few active sims, no provider does this ..

If not I'll just delete it

Same issue o2 claim they can't do nothing about it. Samsung support can't do nothing they say contact o2. Can't delete the app. So very very frustrating. I have never owned an iPhone nor a blackberry so can't use that option but then why should I need to ? Come on Samsung your loading this software tomorrow phones get a grip why can't I add my number to my sim on my s20

i got a SIM card from 'Blau' which just like O2 belongs to Telefonica,
and somewhere in 2012 my O2 stopped working within a radius of some 20km of my home 🤦‍♂️ O2 said it works... then i switched to Blau, and now i have yet another O2 number, which works but for the Blau it doesn't. So for the new SIM it shows number but for the old one doesn't 🤔 this is my conclusion.
