How do I remove a previous owners number from an s20? Obviously I don't have any of their account info.

Hi
I believe you would have
To do a factory reset
To set phone as new

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I have tried that on a previous phone & it didn't work. 😞

you sure the phone is not stolen? maybe the guy who  sold you the phone was not the owner...
bcoz when ppl sell their phones, they do wipe them clean themselves

Thanks for your reply. I have had this with a previous Samsung. I sent the phone to Samsung themselves. Initially, the number disappeared. Then it came back! Very strange!

well that Samsung ID does vanish when you disable/erase the account i guess, or remove that phone from the associated account. This means the previous owner did not do that. Well, you could try to reset that accounts password and by doing so to hack it 😅 which probably won't work you you would need the email too, but maybe if the previous owner has another Samsung phone, he will get notified and maybe he would then remove the phone from his account.

I have had the same problem, as the last phone i bought was refurbished, This time i had a brand new S20 FE direct from Samsung and the number came onto my new phone. I have tried going back to factory settings, with no luck.
