You can trade in your phone at the same time when you purchase a new one. That could save you some money. For that, I could swap my phone every year to get a minimal price for my new phone

I don't think people will give away phones with nothing in exchange. Especially when you can get a really good price out there for unused but good condition Note20 or Z Fold2. I got £500 in return here in UK for trading in an S20+

I would be extremely surprised if someone actually gave away a Samsung Fold 2 or Note20 Ultra here... I was only having a laugh but if that happened I would be very very surprised. like you said... you can get very decent money for these devices.
