I have a Galaxy S20 Plus. I have had the phone about a month now and have not had any issues, until I done the latest update (UI 2.5). Since then my phone has been getting very hot, sometimes to the point where I have to turn it off as it is so hot to the touch, both the back of the phone and the screen. I have also been experiencing extream battery drain......to the point I am changing my phone 3 or 4 times a day.... (My 10 plus I would charge once a day). I did a factory reset on the phone thinking that would help with the over heating and battery drains. I feel I am wasting my money as I have one of the most expensive phones on the market and I can't use it for fear of running out of battery or over heating all the time. I feel I am constantly charging my phone at the moment which in the long run is going to be no good for the battery. Any help or advice would be greatly welcomed at present. Thanks

Are you restoring a backup when you reset your phone? If yes try running it 100% from scratch for a while instead, no restoring, and check if it's a certain app causing it via device care app in settings

it shouldn't be an app that is causing the issues as I never had this problem before I installed the latest update, but I am willing to give anything a try if I can get more then a cpl of hours out of my battery. thanks for your reply

I did phone Vodafone, who is my network provided and who I got the phone from and I can send the phone to them for them to look at or repair, I didn't want to send it in and be without a phone for a few weeks, to find out that they cant do anything anyway, as it is a Samsung issue not a necessary a phone issue
