Over Heating S20 Ultra

Only had this device a few weeks. Over heating to the point warning ⚠️  on the device starts. Samsung won't help. Reported the issue on 28th still waiting for someone from the CEOs office to get in touch. Samsung won't upload my reviews of the device. I even put pictures and videos of what the device is doing.

I have the same but randomly. In same scenario, one day is really warm, another day cold.

Even after providing evidence. Samsung would rather i keep a potentially dangerous device in the house where my young family is. No the device will just switch on even though I've turned it off. As advised by Samsung..

@Sipho: That's not what we like to hear. Are you using the original charger that came packaged with the S20 Ultra? If so, can you open the Samsung Members app and navigate to Get Help > Interactive Checks > USB, follow the on screen prompts and check to see if the test returns any errors. If it does then I recommend reaching out to our Help Desk via the link below where an advisor will be able to assist you further, and arrange any necessary repairs.

Hello. I have 4 chargers in the house. I have an Samsung Z flip , Samsung Note 10+ , Samsung S10+ and the Samsung S20 Ultra. I am a big Samsung fun. Non of the other devices are doing this . So it can't be the charger or sockets in the house. This device was taken in for inspection by Samsung last week and returned back to me in this state. I have been waiting for someone from Samsung CEOs office since the 28th. Not heard anything back. I have called a few times nothing. It just goes to show how much they really care about their customers.

@Sipho: If you originally booked the device in for repair with the same issue, and the problem has re-occurred, then you may wish to book the device back in for a further inspection, especially if the error is cause for concern. If you have emailed the CEO via our website then please be aware that the team work on a queue basis and will get back to you as soon as they can, however they are currently operating at a limited capacity due to Covid-19, responses may take a little longer than usual.

I already provided them with videos and pictures of what the phone is doing. I use the device everyday. They inspect it and return it to me with still the same problem. I was told someone was scheduled to call me on Monday. You pay over £1100 for a device and it starts giving you problems and repairs after repairs ...

That's not good at all. 😞

 

Obviously something is amiss with the hardware or software.

 

I have 5 grandchildren and wouldn't want that phone in my home either.
