Options for pop-view

The current pop-view that is used to view apps in a small window is currently locked into a 5:4 ratio, which makes playing videos in that way not ideal especially when you shrink the window to its smallest as it will leave large black bars above and beneath the video which blocks visibility unnecessarily.

Having either an option to change the ratio of the window or just change it by default to shrink smaller would be a good improvement.

Thank you for reading

You can resize it by dragging the corners of the window. I have been able to do this since android 8

As you can see the mimize stops at this size, as stated when you make the window smaller (by dragging the corner) it stays in this ratio. The red around the border shows i can not make it smaller

This is only with youtube so far, google chrome and other video services such as twitch have a pop up view that fits the video size automatically.

Oh, yeah, that is the minimum size of the window. Other video services use androids popup view which is a completely different thing. There isn't a way to make the popup window smaller. YouTube doesn't officially use that popup window thing (aside from maybe YouTube premium, but the free version in the UK doesn't have it) as that's only on other apps and so there isn't really any way to get around this apart from using 3rd party solutions which are up to you to decide if you want to use them
