notification sound not working

Why cant I get notification sound on message alerts on s20 even though all sounds are on .

hey maybe you try turn on the notifications for the certain apps you use. Hopefully that works

have done that but nothing seems to do anythong

messages, 3dots, settings, notifications.

if that doesn't work, settings, Apps, messages, notifications

try restaring your phone, I've discussed this in other forums, since the update quite a few people phones has intermittent notification sounds been on mute, but after a restart it's seems to work fine untill next time, then I just restart again
