What " usual things " have you tried ?
Does your sim card work in another phone @Norwayfisher ?
Does the issue happen everywhere or in a particular area ?
You maybe able to check your networks local masts via any relevant online network checkers as it maybe a cell mast issue.
Also speak with your network Customer Support to ensure it's not an account issue.
Your network can issue a replacement sim card if necessary.
