After Android 12 update on my S20 Ultra my NFC stopped working almost completely. After tens of on and off switches it sometimes works a few times but not for long. I was trying to automate some things in my house using NFC Tags but guess what, my 2020 flagship has no working NFC. I tried restarts, clearing cache, multiple types of tags, etc.
I'd suggest to send feedback via the Samsung Members App under the GetHelp section.
Try > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.
If you wish try a factory reset after backing up.
A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can help you with this issue.
