Mobile Data Not working

Hi,

I recently update my S20 FE with the latest software (G781BXXU3CCUE3) and it seems to have caused an error with apps using mobile data. Apps like twitter and WhatsApp work fine over data, Snap chat and messenger receive notifications but wont show or send messages, chrome and maps don't work at all. The notification bar shows I'm connected to 4G and shows the send/receive arrows.

I've tried restarting, reinstalling apps and going through the data settings on the apps individually but nothing seems to have worked. Any suggestions before I try a factory reset?

I guess your carrier is Vodafone. Add Vodafone's APN settings to those that are already there.

Ye they are. Is that in the app settings or data settings?

Thanks

Just had the same issue with my Samsung S20 after updating to Android 11. Mobile data not working, can only use internet via Wi-Fi. I have spoken to Samsung and managed (hopefully) to fix it now. Note that this fix applies to those on Vodafone.

1. Reset your APN settings. Following the steps here which apply to S20: https://samsungcustomer.lucidcx.com/sam/device/Samsung/GalaxyS20/scenario/reset-the-apn-settings#l=s...

2. Once reset, you need to create a new APN which you can do following the steps here: https://deviceguides.vodafone.co.uk/samsung/galaxy-s20-fe-5g-android-10-0/connectivity/set-up-your-p...

3. Restart phone.

I followed these steps and for now my mobile data seems to be back in action.
