Lost photos

Since last update lost all gallery photos wish I never bothered with Samsung phone had them for years hassle every update lose saved emails waste of time

Didn't you back up your pictures etc?

What model is the Samsung

Thought I did s20fe they are on Google but it means trying to get them over to gallery

After an update? Usually shouldn't mess with gallery, if stored on phone memory. Which update was it? Check settings to show all albums? May got buried within albums?

Tried that lost everything just have some that I transferred from Google photos which takes to long

Even one drive was empty

@ejm46  Appreciate the frustration, are photos definitely not located somewhere in My Files?  I think it  it is best to have  a few back ups, whether that be another cloud service or/and local storage to increase protection.
