Keyboard issues after S20 OS August 2021 Update

Hi, my first post here.

So I installed the latest OS update today morning on my S20 FE 5G and after that I have experienced strange touch screen or keyboard issues. When ever I try to write something with my keyboard it just lags or I have severe misspellings. The keyboard frequently doesn't recognize when I press the letter or it writes the same letter two or three times. It's very frustrating!

I have read on another forum users suffering the same issues. Anybody here have same problems?

I have rebooted the phone and changed the keyboard without success. I tested a Touchscreen testing app and it shows the actual touchscreen works very well with no issues. I didn't have any problems before installing the latest update. Any ideas what to do next?

Unfortunate this was not the solution. Difficult to capture the problem some periods it works fine and after some time the problem is back again really frustrating especially if you are used to swipe text.

Same issue here. Using swipe keyboard is useless now...

Exactly same problem though I was the only one. Had to fix multiple words in this post.

Any luck? I have the same issue. I'm on Gboard and it's not working as well as before. I noticed the problems but didn't really think twice about it until today. Guess's I wasn't the only one that noticed the issues. I guess you guys were right.. it must've been around the time of the latest update.

My issues are very similar. I've had double presses for a long time when I use it while it is charging. Now it happens when it is off charge. Very frustrating.

Swipe typing is unbearable after this security update.
Any games that require consistent swiping are impossible to play.
Tapping in Pokemon Go and other games randomly doesn't register for 2-3 seconds at a time.
It was only bearable before, but September update made it absolutely horrible!

This is extremely frustrating!

Hi I have found a for now solution to your problem. I had the same issue but you go to settings and search keyboard scroll down a little bit then where it says samsung keyboard well disable it. You won't get clicking feature or tap tones but solution for problem

I can't seem to find an option to disable the Samsung keyboard. I can find "Samsung Keyboard" when I do a search.. can't disable though. Also, I'm using GBoard.. does that make a difference???
