As a user and fan of Samsung phones for a long time I have some assessment of the company.

The January Sales discounts and trade-in values of other phone makers should be better. Far better.

A rich company like Samsung needs to be more "caring" and "understanding" especially with the current situation and extend your profits and convert them to discounts and deals to potential customers especially to key workers like myself.

Secondly, when I had the S20 FE 4G the performance is so poor and battery life was not good enough and the fingerprint sensor speed was awful (due to the inferior Exynos chip and poorly thought off updates). Being an Android user of 11 years, I have done almost everything I can to solve the issues myself but to no success.

These issues are not new. I have And these issues are well known and documented online. And I have experienced them first hand.

If I want to get the S20 FE 5G version will i have a better experience?

Does Samsung really listens to its customers and incorporate user complaints and suggestions in next updates?

Please advice.

Why should key workers get better benefits than others? There are a lot people in the background supporting key workers and never recognised, and they don't expect to get better benefits than others.

As for the S20FE5G who knows if you will have a better experience, but I've had no issues with it since purchase.

But you should have better experience with it

I think you misunderstood me.

I'm not saying that key workers should get "priority treatment" such as discounts. I'm merely stating that as one of the prime reasons that Samsung needs to look at. (But to be honest and with the greatest respect to others key workers normally are in the frontline and nurses, doctors, etc. account for more deaths than those in the "background".

Anyways, you say you don't have issues with your S20 FE? Is yours a 4G or 5G variant?

I still don't see why it should be a prime reason. It shouldn't matter who you are, if you getting it direct from Samsung then should all be treated the same.

If you get it from your network operator you may be able to get a deal on it.

Samsung have been doing a lot of deals on the S20FE5G.

I got my 256gb version for the same price as the 128gb version and then £100 cashback which made it same price as the Pixel 5.
They now currently offering it with a watch.

And yes it is the 5G version as wasn't paying for the inferior Exynos and just 4G when could get the Pixel 5 for the same price and offer on the S20FE5G 256gb was an offer I weren't missing.

Yeah I still think for fairness Samsung should treat everyone equally (not being political here) in terms of discounts across its S20 range.

But i still think Samsung should extend those profits and convert them into better discounts. What's a £100 discount? Free Smart watch? Yup that's cool/ but not everyone wants that.

And yesterday was my birthday. They sent me a discount code vai email.  Went to checkout but guess what...the coupon wasn't working.

When I had the 4G S20 FE variant received 3 software updates in a span of 4 weeks to supposedly fix the slow fingerprint sensor. That didn't worked.

So, what will a Snapdragon-powered 5G FE variant bring? Faster fingerprint sensor? Better battery life? Just a bit pessimistic as to what Samsung has to offer right  now. For me.

Better everything, the SD is far better than the Exynos chip, even if you don't have 5g youhave it for when in an area, battery life is exceptional, I still have over 60% or more left at end of day.

I've come from being nexus/pixel owner since the nexus 4 and was looking at the Pixel 5 but the specs on the S20FE5G were enough to make me switch.
