Instagram stories flicker

Does anyone face screen flicker while watching Instagram stories on S20+ ?

Refresh rate of 120 Hz reduces the issue some times but it is still there.

Quick Google search says that pixel users also face this issue and disabling auto brightness resolved issue on pixel phone. (Doesn't help Samsung)

Any idea?

Don't have this issue on my S20+. I assume you already tried reinstalling Instagram, does this occur on other apps like Facebook Stories? Try loading up an HDR content on YouTube and see if it flickers there if not, maybe you have to wipe everything that is Instagram related in the root folder.

Same issue here, only on instagram stories. Pretty annoying.

re installed Instagram. No success... same story looks proper from one plus 7t and also from s6 edge plus. Only S20PLUS has the issue... Tried contacting Samsung for this issue. They told to contact Instagram developers !!!

I just bought s20 plus 4 days ago and in instagram stories it is flickering annoyingly lot. It seems google pixel had this issue too but google fixed it for their products. Samaung ahould fix this asap.

Yep it started happening after the One UI 3 update, it was fine before that.

yes. exactly... this update has caused issues in calls also. call gets disconnected bit window remains open like the call was ongoing

Uninstalled app and re installed, still same issue

I'm also having the same problem on S20 Ultra. Really annoying. I have uninstalled Instagram and reinstalled still the same issue.

I dont know what cause this but some people also say that new android update can cause this too. Whatever cause this Samsung must fix this asap!
