After the August update, when I reboot my phone, it shows a persistent notification "Secure Folder locked" under Android system section...the only way to make it go is to unlock my secure folder.
I don't want to uninstall Secure Folder, just looking for an one time solution to get rid of that pesky notification. TIA

Thanks for this but it doesn't work for me still. I'm on UI 5.1 Andriod 13 on an S22 and it still asks me for every Reboot.. I also tried I'm selecting every app in the secure folder and still get notifications after restart. Are you actually using the secure folder itself and what phone are you on?

I'm starting to believe it gives samsung a backdoor into the folder. It's obviously an issue that pi***s off so many users that a simple patch fix could sort out but they still don't implement one! F**n crazy

You obviously don't get why people are annoyed. Do you!?!?!

This exact craziness is why I'm switching to an iPhone!! Been fighting with this stupid notification since the August update as well. Samsung has been losing customers over this from what I've been reading. No surprise there.

Haha, of course they do...... n't!! Samsung doesn't give two ***** about consumer problems. I'm ditching this stupid phone and going with Apple. Samsung is TRASH!

I think you're 100% correct... They used to let you back up that directory on their servers. Funny how this started happening after they shut down the "Backup" option. I heard there is a massive security issue with the CPUs that can give anyone access to fully control your phone with just the phone number. At around this time, they did this to the "secure folder".

As much as I hated Apple I might be switching back... We will see what new phones they have on the 5th... If not I'll switch to a different brand Android.

Hey guys I solved the problem with an app called AutoNotification...
With the notification actived, install it, go to Standalone Features and choose it.

Finally!!! CM1407 THANK YOU! After more than a year.. I can confirm this works I've tried other apps with no luck. I would add to the instructions.
Run the App you don't need to click pay or anything.
(At some point you will need to allow the AutoNotification App permission to change Android settings. It is VERY important the notification is up so reset your phone if you unlocked your secure folder.)
Scroll down to (Standalone Features) select (Notification Blocking), and hit the + at the top of the screen. It will show your active notifications and select the " Secure Folder Locked" next select "Text" This way it will only block/hide that system notification and not other important system notifications.
Hip Hip Hooray, for CM1407!
I'm still getting rid of this phone!
