Home Screen Icons Disappear after update

I was just forced to do a system update earlier and after the update all my home screen icons disappeared! I searched on here and found a solution on here to do a restore (supposed to work for S10), but it didn't work for my S20. Please help!

had the same with my galaxy z fold 2 , keep having to remake my home screen icons

Lost the home screen and the other 3 screens i had set up.  Last night.  S20 Ultra

Same here on S20. Tried restoring homescreen and apps. Tried clearing UI cache. This stinks.

It looks like nobody has a solution for this. It seems to be an S20 thing from what I'm seeing when I research. I've had different Galaxy phones for years now and never had this happen. It sucks.

If you guys lost some apps like I did (mostly games) when I updated. I found the way.  Its all under Game Launcher. Found my games again. 😄
