Getting notice on s20 email app

stating ' unable to use compose. Tap settings, then allow tye following permissions and try again: Files and media.

Any advice appreciated.

Apps
Click on your email app
Permissions
Files and media - allow

Why would email need access. Never did before. Looks dodgy.

I have the same issue but no options to allow permission for files
